上野から六本木へ｜ブルーの紫陽花 | From Ueno to Roppongi | Blue Hydrangeas

先月、東京都美術館で開催中だったアンドリュー・ワイエス展を見るため、上野を訪れました。

展示を見終えた後、通り沿いの建物を撮影しました。

Last month, I visited Ueno to see the Andrew Wyeth exhibition at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum.

After viewing the exhibition, I photographed some buildings along the street.

こちらは、重要文化財「旧因州池田屋敷表門」です。

「黒門」とも呼ばれています。

正面から撮影すると、門の形や造りが際立つ一方で、平面的な印象の一枚になりました。

This is the Former Inshu Ikeda Residence Front Gate, an Important Cultural Property.

It is also known as the “Kuromon”.

Photographing it from the front emphasized the gate’s shape and structure, but the resulting image had a rather flat impression.

電車に乗って、次は六本木にやってきました。

駅から少し歩いたところにあるギャラリーへ向かいます。

ギャラリーが入っているビルの前には、たくさんの紫陽花が咲いていました。

見頃は過ぎていて枯れ始めていましたが、前回の明月院に続いて、もう一度撮影してみました。

ブルーの花びらにうっすらとピンク色が混ざっていて、美しかったです。

Next, I took the train to Roppongi.

I headed to a gallery located a short walk from the station.

In front of the building where the gallery is located, many hydrangeas were in bloom.

Although they had passed their peak and were beginning to fade, I decided to photograph them again, following my previous visit to Meigetsu-in.

The soft pink tint blending into the blue petals was beautiful.

ギャラリーを見終えた後は駅へ戻り、森美術館で開催中のロン・ミュエクの個展を見に行きました。

After visiting the gallery, I returned to the station and went to the Mori Art Museum to see Ron Mueck’s solo exhibition.

I plan to share that visit in a future blog post.
