Nicolai Bergmann Hakone Gardens
Hello!
Continuing from the previous post, it’s finally time to take a walk through the garden.
Near the entrance, we were greeted by a plant bearing bright red berries and some Japanese pampas grass.

As we continued along the main path, we came across pumpkin decorations placed on top of tree trunks.
The tree trunks were different heights, making it easy to compare the shapes of the pumpkins. I found it interesting how the display made use of the varying heights of the tree trunks and the surrounding space.

Unfortunately, it seems there were a few paths in the garden that I didn’t get to explore.
There appear to be other decorations as well, so I recommend checking the map as you make your way around the garden.
Next time, I’ll introduce the pumpkins and plants displayed in several pavilions throughout the garden.
See you in the next post.
