I photograph scenes I come across in everyday life, capturing something like the time that flows through them.
Rather than focusing on people themselves, I turn my attention to the quiet traces and messages found in those spaces.

Through the medium of photography, I attempt to record and convey sensations that cannot be put into words, as well as meanings that exist within landscapes.

What I value during shooting is that viewers can feel the spatial openness of the place, as if they were actually standing there.

For that reason, I focus not only on compositional elements such as the distance to the subject or how the frame is constructed, but also on how the space itself is perceived.

Also, I value the sense of depth created within a space by the light that falls into it, as well as the act of perceiving the flow of time that remains in that place.

To me, light does not simply illuminate a landscape; it reveals the contours of a space and can become something that gently settles emotions that had been unsettled.

There are moments when I am drawn to light, stop in place, and feel compelled to continue looking at that space.

Rather than simply capturing scenery, I aim to preserve the light that exists within a place, along with the brightness, warmth, and traces of time perceived through it.

When we look at a photograph, perhaps we first sense something before it becomes words.

That sensation may unfold into different meanings, intertwined with our own memories and experiences, as well as the images and emotions that arise within us.

Rather than immediately putting the sensation into words or giving it meaning, I hope you will experience the sensation as it is.

What did you feel? Why did it stay with you? Within such sensations, there may be something important to each of us that we have not yet become aware of.
