木槿 | ９月の風景に咲く植物 | Rose of Sharon | Plants in September Scenes

こんにちは。

この日は、９月に入ってから久しぶりに晴れた日だったので、午後から撮影に出かけました。

最初の目的地は、衣笠神社です。

神社に向かう中、途中から坂を登っていく道が続きます。事前に調べてこなかったので、少し後悔しました。

やがて、木々が生い茂る道が現れました。この先に神社があるので、さらに登っていきます。

It had been a while since we had a sunny day in September, so I went out to take photographs in the afternoon.

My first destination was Kinugasa Shrine.

As I made my way to the shrine, the road gradually became a steep uphill path. I hadn’t looked up the route beforehand, so I regretted it a little.

Eventually, a road surrounded by lush trees came into view. The shrine was further ahead, so I continued walking uphill.

神社の鳥居の前に着くと、道端に夾竹桃が咲いていました。

あえて少し離れた花にフォーカスして撮影すると、実際に見たときの植物の大きさや印象を写すことができました。

ピンクの花が可愛らしいですが、毒性を持つ植物だそうなので、直接触れないように気をつけてください。

When I reached the torii gate of the shrine, I found oleander blooming along the roadside.

I deliberately focused on a flower a little farther away, which allowed me to capture the size and impression of the plant as I saw it in person.

The pink flowers are lovely, but oleander is said to be poisonous, so please be careful not to touch it directly.

その横には黒鬼灯も咲いています。
光が降り注ぐ中で咲く姿は、どこか優しさを感じさせます。

Beside it, apple of Peru plants were also in bloom.
The way they bloomed in the falling light seemed to have a gentle quality.

鳥居をくぐると、私以外にも参拝者が訪れていました。

この神社は、自然の中に建っているように感じました。

参拝を済ませ、最後に鳥居をくぐる前に、一枚撮影。

After passing through the torii gate, I saw that there were other visitors at the shrine as well.

The shrine seemed to stand surrounded by nature.

After finishing my prayers, I took one last photograph before passing through the torii gate.

次は、カスヤの森現代美術館を目指して歩き出します。

途中、公園の前を通ると、アベリアが小さな花を咲かせていました。

Next, I set off on foot for the Kasuya Forest Museum of Modern Art.

As I passed by a park along the way, I came across abelia blooming with small flowers.

３５分ほど歩いて、美術館に到着しました。

After walking for about 35 minutes, I arrived at the museum.

中に入ると、私以外には訪れている方がいなかったので、現在行われている展覧会を見てから、庭に出てみました。

こちらの庭では、季節によってさまざまな植物が咲いているようです。

夕方の風に揺られて、木槿の花が咲いていました。

静かな庭で、レースのような花びらを咲かせる姿に、なぜか心が落ち着きました。

When I went inside, there were no other visitors. I looked around the exhibition and then went out into the garden.

It seems that various plants bloom in this garden depending on the season.

The Rose of Sharon was blooming, swaying gently in the evening breeze.

In the quiet garden, the way its lace-like petals opened seemed to bring me a sense of calm.

この日の目的は、金木犀を探しに出かけることでしたが、見つけられなかった代わりに、普段見慣れた風景の中に咲く植物にたくさん出会えました。

９月は、すぐに思いつくような植物があまりないイメージでしたが、こうやって歩いて探してみると、目立つような植物ではなくても、自然や風景の中に馴染むように生きているんだなと思います。

次回は、１日かけて金木犀を探し回った日の出来事をお話ししていきます。
