元旦の一日 | A Day on New Year’s Day

今回は元旦の一日をざっくりお話ししていきます。途中でも撮影はしていますが、枚数があまり多くないため、説明だけになる箇所もありますがご了承ください。
元旦は日の出を見るため、６時３０分過ぎに目的地の神社に到着しました。まだ誰もいなかったため、先に参拝を済ませ、社殿の横にある階段を登って上へ向かいます。
Hello.
This time, I’ll be talking briefly about how I spent New Year’s Day. I did take photos along the way, but since I didn’t take many, there are some parts that will be explained without images. Thank you for your understanding.
On New Year’s Day, I arrived at the shrine I was heading to a little after 6:30 a.m. to watch the sunrise. As no one else was there yet, I first offered my prayers, then climbed the stairs beside the shrine building and made my way upward.
今年は雲が多く、日の出は見えにくかったものの、なんとか力強い光を捉えることができました。
This year, there were many clouds, and although the sunrise was difficult to see, I was still able to capture a powerful light.
日の出を見た後は、階段を降りて社殿の方に戻ります。
After watching the sunrise, I went back down the stairs and returned toward the shrine building.
この後はフェリーに乗って千葉へ行き、アジ定食を食べてきました。
食べ終わった後は少しゆっくりできるかと思いきや、ちょうど戻りのフェリーが出るタイミングだったため、千葉観光はせず、そのまま船に乗りました。
フェリーから眺める海の景色はとても良かったです。
船を降りた後は、今度は最乗寺へ向かいます。
元旦はお寺の駐車場が利用できないため、近くの指定されたグラウンドに車を停め、そこからお寺までのバスに乗って向かいました。
ここを初めて訪れたのは１２月頃で、その時はほとんど参拝者がいなかったのですが、今回は元旦ということもあり、多くの人が参拝に訪れていました。
広い境内を歩きながら撮影はしていましたが、なかなか納得のいく写真が撮れなかったため、今回は一枚だけご紹介させてください。
After that, I took a ferry to Chiba, where I had a set meal of fried horse mackerel.
After finishing the meal, I thought I might be able to relax for a while, but as the return ferry was about to depart, I boarded the boat again without doing any sightseeing in Chiba.
The view of the sea from the ferry was very beautiful.
After getting off the ferry, I then headed to Saijoji Temple.
On New Year’s Day, the temple does not allow the use of its parking lot, so I parked my car at a nearby designated parking area and took a bus from there to the temple.
The first time I visited this place was around December, and at that time there were hardly any visitors. This time, however, as it was New Year’s Day, many people had come to pay their respects.
I took photos while walking around the spacious temple grounds, but since I couldn’t capture anything I was fully satisfied with, I would like to share just one photograph this time.
