荻外荘（近衛文麿旧宅）｜食堂の空間と光 | The Dining Room Space and Light at Tekigaiso

前回は荻外荘の廊下や窓から差し込む光に注目して撮影しました。

今回は食堂で、椅子やテーブルそのものではなく、壁にやわらかく差し込む光や照明、静かな空間に目を向けています。

この写真は、室内の壁と空間の一部分を切り取った一枚です。

左下には鏡があり、その中に椅子が映り込んでいます。鏡越しに食堂の一部分だけが写っているため、部屋全体の様子は見えません。その分、見る人それぞれが空間を想像できる一枚になったように感じています。

部屋の奥は全体的に暗く、空間にはほのかな明るさが広がっています。その静けさや落ち着いた雰囲気もまた、荻外荘ならではの独特な魅力だと感じました。

In my previous visit to Tekigaiso, I focused on the light streaming through the hallways and windows.

This time, in the dining room, I paid attention not to the chairs or tables themselves, but to the soft light, the lighting fixtures, and the quiet atmosphere of the space.

This photograph captures a small portion of the room’s wall and interior space.

In the lower left corner, there is a mirror reflecting a chair. Since only part of the dining room is visible through the mirror, the room itself cannot be seen in its entirety. As a result, I feel the photograph leaves room for each viewer to imagine the space in their own way.

Toward the back of the room, it is quite dim, with a subtle brightness throughout the space. I felt that this quietness and sense of calm are part of what makes Tekigaiso so appealing.

室内の照明は、なだらかな曲線と細かな模様が特徴的です。壁の柄ともよく馴染み、部屋全体に統一感を感じました。

The lighting fixtures in the room feature graceful curves and intricate patterns. They blend well with the wall design, creating a strong sense of harmony throughout the space.

廊下側からほのかな光が入り、室内の壁にはやわらかな陰影が生まれていました。

引き戸のガラスや欄間から光が入り、庭の景色を望める開放感のある空間になっています。

I photographed the view from the dining room toward the hallway.
Light streams in through the sliding glass doors and the transom windows, creating an open and airy space with views of the garden.

今回は部屋のわずがかに感じられる光に注目してみました。

時間帯によって見え方が変わる光なので、ぜひ実際に気にしてみてください。
