大倉山記念館のエントランスと空間 | Entrance and Interior of Okurayama Memorial Hall

今回は、大倉山記念館の内部を見ていこうと思います。
入口はやや薄暗く、四つの灯りを吊り下げた照明が迎えてくれます。

This time, I would like to take a look inside Okurayama Memorial Hall.
The entrance is slightly dim, where a hanging light with four lamps quietly welcomes visitors.
入口から右奥に進むと、木製の椅子が静かに置かれていました。
Toward the back right of the room, a wooden chair sits quietly.
エントランスの階段です。
This is the entrance staircase.
天井を見上げると、動物をモチーフにした像が壁に沿って並んでいます。
設計は、古典主義建築の第一人者・長野宇平治。
「東西文化の融合」という理念のもと、プレヘレニック様式に東洋の意匠を取り入れた独特の建築です。
Looking up at the ceiling, you can see sculptures inspired by animals lined up along the wall.
The building was designed by Uheiji Nagano, a leading figure in classical architecture.
Based on the idea of “the fusion of Eastern and Western cultures,” it features a unique architectural style that combines the pre-Hellenic style with Eastern design elements.
入口の方に戻り、左側に進むと、休憩スペースの部屋がありました。
部屋にはエントランスと同じ椅子が置かれ、窓からは外の正面階段にある街灯が見えます。
Returning toward the entrance and moving to the left, there was a room used as a resting space.
The room has the same chairs as those in the entrance, and through the window you can see the streetlight by the main staircase outside.
この建物内には、コンサートで使われる大きなホールと、いくつかの集会室があります。この日は楽器の音が聞こえてきました。
関係者以外は立ち入り禁止のため、エントランスや階段などを見学しました。
建築見学は８年前からしていますが、電車でも来られる距離にこのような場所があるとは知りませんでした。
公共の喧騒から離れた広い敷地の公園内にあるというのも魅力的です。
この日は朝から曇っていたので、晴れているとまた違う景色が楽しめそうです。

On this day, the sound of musical instruments could be heard.
Since entry is restricted to authorized persons only, I was only able to see areas such as the entrance and the staircase.
I have been visiting architectural sites for about eight years, but I did not know that a place like this existed within a distance I could reach by train.
It is also appealing that the building stands within a spacious park, away from the bustle of the city.
It had been cloudy since the morning on this day, so it seems that a different view could be enjoyed when the weather is clear.
