Hello.
Continuing from the previous post, let’s explore more of the exhibition and the former school building.
Next, I came across a space that hardly looked like a classroom. Instead, it felt more like a space perfectly suited for an exhibition.
It seems that this room was previously used to store teaching materials.

Sunlight streams in through the windows, while the view of the sea is reflected on the surface of the artwork hanging on the wall.

This is “Untitled F Phantom II” by Noriyuki Haraguchi, an artist from Yokosuka.
The work features the shape of a horizontal stabilizer arranged on paper, with a single line made of lead placed on it.
From a photographic perspective, I particularly like how the green floor in the background complements the texture of the artwork.

The artwork fits beautifully into this room, making it an ideal space to enjoy the sunlight streaming through the windows and the view of the sea.
Personally, this was the only room that didn’t feel like part of a school to me. It’s quite mysterious.
Next time, I’ll share some scenes I encountered in another classroom.
See you in the next post.
