Market Place | Nicolai Bergmann Hakone Gardens

Hello.

Finally, I’d like to introduce the pumpkins and plants I came across at the Marketplace.

The first thing that greeted me was a wooden bench decorated with pumpkins, set against a green wall adorned with more pumpkins and plants.

On sunny days, visitors can sit on the bench and enjoy taking photos.

The green and yellow pumpkins harmonize with the color of the wall, while the naturally flowing arrangement of leaves adds a three-dimensional effect to the space.

A variety of plants and pumpkins are on display.

Small pumpkins are also scattered here and there, making the display a delight to look at.

The hydrangeas, with their beautiful blend of pink, green, and blue, are also lovely.

White and orange pumpkins were arranged on a wooden table.

I photographed them in both color and black and white. In color, the pumpkins blend beautifully into the serene, autumnal atmosphere. In black and white, however, the white pumpkin becomes the focal point of the image.

The Marketplace is also a fun place where visitors can enjoy a few simple games.

Unlike the pavilions, it offers a more open and spacious natural setting, making it a wonderful place to explore on a sunny day.

This was my first visit, and I was truly amazed by the scenery, which exceeded my expectations. Simply put, it was wonderful.

Although the admission fee is a little on the expensive side, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would love to return.

The displays seem to change with the seasons, and events are held regularly, so if you ever visit Hakone, I highly recommend stopping by.

See you in the next post.
