Evening Ginkgo and Night Lights
Hello.
On this day, I went out in the late afternoon to photograph ginkgo trees.
It was already past 4:00 p.m., and the sun had begun to sink, but I thought that if I hurried, I might still make it in time, so I left the house.

By the time I reached my destination, the sun had already dropped lower than when I left home, and I thought I was too late. Even so, I decided to take a few photos.
It might have been nicer to visit a little earlier, but the ginkgo trees in the evening had another kind of beauty, and I was able to enjoy the seasonal landscape.

There were many power lines in this area, so I intentionally took a few photos of the ginkgo trees with the power lines included.
As I was shooting, the sky grew darker moment by moment.

By then, the sun had nearly set, and since I was able to photograph the ginkgo trees I had wanted to capture, I began walking back along the path I came from.

As I walked through the streets at night, I found myself drawn to the streetlights.
The town lights at night were beautiful as well.

This time, I headed out to shoot in the early evening on a whim. Since I usually photograph during the daytime, I didn’t feel very confident that I could take interesting photos without daylight.
Still, whether the results were interesting or not, I feel that it was a worthwhile challenge for me.
Even familiar places and streets feel different in the evening or at night than during the daytime, so I encourage you to try changing the time of day when you photograph them.
You may find something new.
See you next time.
