鴫立庵と、初夏の光 | Shigitatsu-an and the Early Summer Light

こんにちは。

先日、神奈川の大磯にある史跡巡りをしてきました。

まず訪れたのが、日本三大俳諧道場の一つとされる鴫立庵 です。

８年ほど前にも一度訪れたことがありますが、この日は新鮮な気持ちで撮影に臨みました。

今回は全体を紹介するというより、気になった場所や光を中心に撮影しています。

The other day, I visited some historic sites in Oiso, Kanagawa.

The first place I visited was Shigitatsu-an, known as one of Japan’s three major haikai poetry training sites.

I had visited once before about eight years ago, but this time I approached the photography with a fresh perspective.

Rather than introducing the entire place, I focused on photographing the spaces and light that particularly caught my attention.

木々の間から差し込む光に照らされた、茅葺屋根を撮影しました。

I photographed the thatched roof illuminated by light filtering through the trees.

周囲の木々や緑に囲まれるように建っています。

It stands surrounded by trees and greenery.

縁側にはポストと木の机が置かれていました。
日の明るさが、初夏の空気を感じさせます。

There was a post box and a wooden table placed on the engawa veranda.
The brightness of the sunlight evokes the atmosphere of early summer.

近くには、アザミと思われる植物が花瓶に生けられていました。
紫色の花がかわいらしいですね。

Nearby, a plant that appeared to be a thistle had been arranged in a vase.
The purple flowers are charming.

縁側を照らす光を撮影してみました。
何枚か撮影しましたが、このくらいの距離感のほうが、空間の奥行きや、そこに差し込む光の印象が伝わるように感じました。

I tried photographing the light illuminating the engawa veranda.
I took several shots, but I felt that this sense of distance better conveys the depth of the space and the impression of the light filtering into it.

訪れるのは2回目でしたが、以前と変わらない景色の中で、私自身の見る視点が8年前とは少し変わったように感じました。

今回は５月に訪れましたが、季節が変われば光の入り方も変わり、また違った空間の見え方や植物を楽しめると思います。

Although this was my second visit, I felt that my own perspective had changed slightly compared to eight years ago, while the scenery itself remained unchanged.

I visited in May this time, but as the seasons change, the way the light enters also changes, allowing visitors to enjoy different impressions of the space and the surrounding nature.
