神域に漂う光の断片 | 鹿島神宮 | Fragments of Light in a Sacred Space | Kashima Shrine

こんにちは。

先日、茨城と千葉にある「東国三社巡り」をしてきました。

東国三社とは、鹿島神宮・息栖神社・香取神宮の三社を指し、パワースポットとしても知られている有名な神社です。

今回は参拝をしながら、歩く途中で差し込む光をたくさん撮影してきました。
その中から厳選した写真をご紹介していこうと思います。

まずは鹿島神宮からスタートです。


大きな鳥居に、思わず圧倒されてしまいました。

Recently, I visited the three sacred shrines of eastern Japan, known as Tōgoku Sansha, located in Ibaraki and Chiba.

The Tōgoku Sansha refers to Kashima Shrine, Ikisu Shrine, and Katori Shrine—famous spiritual sites often regarded as powerful places in Japan.

While worshipping at the shrines, I took many photographs of the light streaming through the trees as I walked.
From those, I would like to share a carefully selected series of images.

I will start with Kashima Shrine.


The grand torii gate was truly overwhelming.

楼門を通る前に、ひっそりと佇む鳥居がありました。

気になったので、まずはその鳥居をくぐってみます。

Before passing through the romon gate, I noticed a torii standing quietly off to the side.

Curious, I decided to walk through it first.

社がいくつかありました。

There were several small shrines.

ここで参拝します。

I offered my prayers here.

次は奥参道へと進んでいきます。

Next, I proceed along the inner approach—the inner path leading deeper into the shrine grounds.

この参道には、木々の間から光が差し込んでいました。

Along this path, light filtered through the trees.

奥宮で参拝します。

I will offer my prayers at the inner shrine.

社がありました。

There was a small shrine.

御手洗池です。

This is Mitarashi Pond.

椿が咲いていました。

Camellias were in bloom.

ここからは駐車場へ戻るため、来た道を引き返します。

From here, I turn back along the path to return to the parking lot.

鹿島神宮はとても広く、すべてを回り切ることはできませんでしたが、それでも光の差し込む空間を歩くのは、とても気持ちのいい時間でした。

次は、息栖神社と香取神宮の光をお届けしようと思います。

Kashima Shrine was vast, and although I couldn’t explore every corner, walking through spaces filled with streaming light was a truly wonderful experience.

Next, I will share the light of Ikisu Shrine and Katori Shrine.
